Our Levels of Care

Detox Through Aftercare, Without Changing Facilities

Clients move from detox into residential treatment at the same location, so there is no gap in care at the point people are most likely to drop out.

Medical Detox

Physician-supervised detox with 24-hour nursing. Alcohol and benzodiazepine withdrawal can be life-threatening without medical supervision, so monitoring runs around the clock.

  • 24-Hour Nursing: Continuous monitoring by licensed nursing staff.
  • Medical Director Oversight: Medical Director and Nurse Practitioner manage withdrawal.
  • No Gap in Care: Clients move from detox into residential at the same location.
  • Comfort Medications: Withdrawal symptoms managed rather than endured.

Residential Treatment

Small-facility residential care built on the proprietary Rewired curriculum, with private and double-occupancy rooms and an approximate 1-to-1 staff-to-client ratio.

  • Six to Twelve Beds: A boutique setting, not a corporate institution.
  • Rewired Curriculum: Created by co-founder Erica Spiegelman, LCSW, exclusive to New Spirit.
  • Private Rooms Available: Single occupancy, or double with queen and king beds.
  • Family Involvement: Family therapy throughout the stay, not a single family weekend.
Call Now: (855) 711-1182

Dual Diagnosis & MAT

Co-occurring mental health conditions treated alongside substance use, with FDA-approved medication-assisted treatment where clinically appropriate.

  • Integrated Care: Addiction and mental health addressed together, not sequentially.
  • MAT Options: FDA-approved medications for opioid and alcohol use disorder.
  • Medical Evaluation: Every client meets the medical team within 24 hours of admission.
  • Veteran Track: Trauma-informed care for veterans and working professionals.

Our Approach

Built on the Rewired Program

Rewired was created by our co-founder Erica Spiegelman, LCSW, and is available only at New Spirit. It treats recovery as a transformation across emotional, mental, spiritual and physical dimensions rather than symptom management alone, integrating neuroscience, positive psychology and mindfulness.

Google reviewNew Spirit Alumni
It's not an exaggeration to say that this place saved my life. If you or someone you love is struggling, know that healing is possible, and this is the place where it can begin.
Google reviewNew Spirit Alumni
I don't have the words to fully explain how much this place changed my life. When I arrived, I was broken, hopeless, and convinced I would never find a way forward. The staff here didn't just help me recover, they helped me rediscover myself. They gave me tools, patience, and most importantly, compassion.

Accessing Care

How Admission Works

Four steps from your first call to a plan for after treatment ends.

1

Call and Verify Coverage

Call (855) 711-1182 and our admissions team verifies your insurance in real time on that first call, explaining your benefits, copays, and out-of-pocket costs before you commit to anything.

2

Clinical Assessment

A licensed clinician reviews your substance use history, mental health, medical conditions, and treatment goals. Nursing staff completes a medical evaluation with vitals and medication review.

3

Begin Medical Detox

Start physician-supervised detox with 24-hour nursing. Same-day admission is available when clinically appropriate, and we coordinate travel for clients arriving from out of state.

4

Residential and Aftercare

Move into residential treatment at the same location with no gap in care, then step down through PHP, IOP, or outpatient with a warm handoff and full clinical documentation transferred.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need medical detox before treatment?

If you are dependent on alcohol, benzodiazepines, or opioids, yes. Withdrawal from alcohol and benzodiazepines can be life-threatening without medical supervision. Our detox is physician-supervised with 24-hour nursing, and you move into residential treatment at the same location so there is no gap in care.

Are private rooms available?

Yes. We offer private single-occupancy rooms as well as double-occupancy rooms with queen and king beds. Our locations are small — six to twelve beds — so private rooms are limited and worth asking about on your first call.

What insurance do you accept?

We work with all major private insurance plans, including Anthem Blue Cross, MultiPlan, UMR, Magellan, MyShip, and TRICARE and TriWest for veterans. Our admissions team verifies your benefits in real time during your first call at no cost and with no obligation to admit.

How quickly can I be admitted?

Same-day admission is available when clinically appropriate, so there is no extended wait list. For clients travelling from out of state, our admissions team coordinates flights and ground transportation.

What is the Rewired program?

Rewired is our proprietary curriculum, created by co-founder Erica Spiegelman, LCSW, and available exclusively at New Spirit. It treats recovery as a transformation across emotional, mental, spiritual, and physical dimensions rather than symptom management alone, integrating neuroscience, positive psychology, and mindfulness.

Do you treat co-occurring mental health conditions?

Yes. Dual diagnosis care is integrated into treatment rather than handled separately, with a Medical Director and Nurse Practitioner managing psychiatric medication alongside addiction treatment. Every client meets our medical team within 24 hours of admission.

Do you have a program for veterans?

Yes. We accept TRICARE and TriWest, and our veteran track provides trauma-informed care from providers experienced with the military experience. We also work with first responders and working professionals who need discreet treatment.
